Cycling Route R02 is 33.7 km long. 3.8 km of the R02 Route overlaps the R01 Drava Route and this analysis takes into consideration only its length until the point of overlapping with the R01 Drava Route. The whole of this Route, either the macadam or asphalt parts, is suitable for cyclotourism activities. Of the total length of the R02 Cycling Route approx. 16.7 km (49.5%) of the Route is macadam and 16.8 km (50.5%) of the Route runs along a road on which there are no bike lanes or cycling paths.

In the direction of the Varaždin – Brezje Dravsko, the Route is marked with 11 road markings located at appropriate locations which correctly direct cyclotourists from the start to the finish of the route. On the R02 Route there are also 4 signposts showing the R01 Cycling Route that inform cyclist s of the relative position of the R02 Cycling Route, compared to the point of turning towards the rest point of R01 Cycling Route, Lake Ormož, Brezje Dravsko, Donje Vratno and the directions towards the City of Varaždin and Slovenia.

In the direction of Brezje Dravsko – Varaždin the Route is marked with 12 road markings located at appropriate locations which correctly direct cyclotourists from the start to the finish of the route. On the R02 Route there are also 2 signposts showing the R01 Cycling Route that inform cyclist s of the relative position of the R02 Cycling Route, compared to the point of turning towards the rest point of R01 Cycling Route, Lake Ormož, the location of Brezje Dravsko and Donje Vratno.

On this Cycling Route additional signage is proposed for the point where the right turn is to be taken on the cyclotourist Route from Varaždin – Brezje Dravsko (GPS coordinates: 46.32553, 16.33867) before the bridge crossing the Drava canal.
