Other Cycling Routes
02/11/2018, 11:18There are also several competition routes which are additionally designed for cycling recreation. They have all been fixed up and marked with cycling signposts.
Ludbreg Cyclotouristic Route
Start of the Route: Križovljan – Hrastovsko – Vinogradi Ludbreški – Ludbreg. End of the Route: Sigetec Ludbreški.
Lužec – Novi Marof – XC Cycling Route
The route is 6.4 km (XCO Category), of which 1,300 m is macadam and the rest are little trails and forest paths. It is a recreational route but has been primarily designed for competitions.
XC Route in Beretinec
The Route is 4.7 km long and suitable for more advanced recreational cyclists
Ivanščica Downhill Route
The Route is 2.3 km long. This competitive route, which is one of the most difficult technical tracks of its kind in Croatia and amongst one of the hardest in the region, is suitable for downhill mountain biking.
Lepoglava – Vudelja – Šumec Route
The Route is 14.5 km long. A recreational-type route.
Lepoglava – Kamničko Podgorje – Ravna gora – Trakošćan Route
The Route is 13 km long. A recreational-type route marked as a mountaineering path.
Lepoglava – Višnjica – Cvetlin – Trakošćan Route
The Route is 33 km long. The recreational-type ‘route’ can only be ridden on a road.
There are only two rest points on the existing cycling routes (on the MDB Drava Cycling Route in Svibovec Podravski and in Križovljangrad) and there are three self-service stations in Varaždin, Sračinec and Cestica. E-bike charging station are available in the towns of Varaždin, Ludbreg and Lepoglava.
